PetroJet Technology vs Fracing
With PetroJet Technology laterals can be placed at precise lengths in predetermined directions. Fracs are not exact and will only propagate in the direction allowed by the formation and are inconsistent in height and length. Fracs can break into underlying or overlying formations, whereas PetroJet laterals can be controlled to avoid both. We can also place PetroJet laterals into formations that cannot be fractured, such as coal or unconsolidated sand.

PetroJet recycles the drilling fluids, utilizing a closed fluid cycle when drilling. The fluid gets pumped to our nozzle and is brought back to the surface where it gets filtered (and where we are able to recover cuttings) before being used in the cutting process again. This process ensures minimal fluid loss and contamination.
PetroJet laterals reduce the amount of chemicals entering the environment compared to fracing. Because we recycle our drilling fluids, any required chemicals need to be added only once, with occasional "top-ups". As this is a closed-loop system the possibility of contamination and spills are dramatically lowered.
We make steam injection more efficient, requiring less steam to be produced, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.
PetroJet laterals allow operators to reuse their wells instead of having to drill more wells in the same area. Operators can continue to use their existing wells and associated infrastructures without any additional impact on the environment and at a fraction of the cost.
